Holiday Market November 3rd

I'm going to bring my crafts to a holiday market that my friend, Kristen Babovec, is having. I'll have the sheet music trees for $7, the fabric birds for $8, the coasters for $15, and you can order a personalized pot for $20. If you'd like to come, it's Thursday, November 3rd, from 6-9 p.m. Kristen is near Abbett Elementary, at 917 Muirfield.

Hope to see you there!

Want one?

If anyone's interested in some soda can art, e-mail me. I can do any school logo or initial, and I'm flexible on shape and size. This one took me about 10 hours to complete. It is 12" high, and 24" wide and is $100. I am not going to be surprised or offended if no one wants to pay that much!

I have cheaper gifts... scroll down to see the coasters and flower pots!

Pots!

The flower pots have really taken off! I think I've made 12 so far. Thanks!

Productivity

Wow! Thanks, everyone, for ordering lots of stuff. I spent all day yesterday crafting, and it was really good for the psyche!

So far, I've sold 9 flower pots and 10 sets of coasters! I feel very productive.

How many do you want?

Since I've been bored lately, (and with me, boredom leads to behaving badly) I've decided to craft for the holidays. I'm offfering these 4 x 4 travertine coasters (set of 5, because 4 is never enough) in a gift box for $15.

The coasters are very functional, lined on the bottom with cork, and sealed on top to resist staining. I made some for myself a few years ago, and they've held up very well.

I embellish the gift boxes with whatever design is on the coasters, so the box looks pretty, too.

Here are all the designs: (I'm going to number them for simplicity's sake...Some of them defy description)

#6 ( You know me, I had to include a bird)

Since I'm full of cockamamie ideas, I also thought I'd throw out some flower pots to see if they stick. It's a 10" clay pot and saucer, handpainted with the house address and family name.

These are $20 each.

Here we go!

Here's my first post on the new blog. Basically, I'm bored. When I'm bored, I end up at Taco Bueno. Trust me, nothing is Bueno after I've been there. To alleviate my boredom, I'm crafting. While my hands are stamping and gluing, I can't shove food in my mouth.

Anyway, the coasters are cute, relatively cheap, and make a good gift. They even come with a gift box. I'll post pictures as soon as I get examples of all the designs.
